Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern use of the Junk Mail OptOut desktop application and related websites and hosted services (collectively, the “Service”), provided by Minted Investments LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account, accessing the Service, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service does
Junk Mail OptOut helps users identify senders of unsolicited postal advertising, prepare and submit requests to reduce unwanted marketing mail, and track requests and available mailing status events. Delivery or acceptance of a request does not guarantee that advertising will cease. Legal, financial, safety, transactional, or other required communications may continue.
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be legally able to enter into a contract and have authority to use the name and mailing address provided. You must not impersonate another person, submit mail belonging to others without authorization, harass organizations, submit fraudulent information, or use the Service for spam or illegal activity. You are responsible for reviewing recipient information and requests before submission where approval is required.
3. Accounts and security
Account access uses email verification. You are responsible for controlling access to your email account and device. We may suspend accounts to protect the Service against fraud, unauthorized submissions, or misuse. One account's mailing history is not intended to be accessible to other customers.
4. Memberships and prices

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Taxes, if applicable, are displayed during checkout. Unused monthly postal allowances do not roll over to the next allowance period. Only confirmed, eligible subscriptions receive paid-mail allowance. Allowance and spending caps can prevent a submission that exceeds service limits; excess letters are not automatically included.
Postal allowances reset on a UTC calendar-month basis, which may differ from the date your subscription renews. Unused monthly allowances expire at the end of each allowance period.
5. Automatic renewal, cancellation and plan changes
Your recurring membership continues and Stripe charges the payment method on file at the applicable billing interval unless you cancel. You may manage payment methods and cancel through the “Manage billing” feature where available. Cancellation prevents future renewals and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, subject to the terms displayed in Stripe at cancellation. Changes between monthly and annual plans may be restricted or scheduled, and applicable effective dates and charges are presented before confirmation. No subscription purchase is required to cancel an existing membership.
6. Mailing fulfillment and third parties
Physical letters are prepared and sent through a postal fulfillment provider. We may share the information necessary to prepare and deliver the letter, including your name, postal address, the advertiser's contact details, and the opt-out request text. Postal processing and delivery status may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Company contact forms and email submissions may be governed by the recipient's systems and policies.
7. AI-assisted identification
If enabled, AI-assisted recognition and third-party search services may help interpret uploaded mail images and find contact details. Results can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review recommended recipients and contact data before approving submissions. Do not supply sensitive identification numbers or financial credentials.
8. Availability and limits of responsibility
We aim to make the Service reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, acceptance by postal recipients, specific delivery dates, or successful removal from marketing lists. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded. Your rights under applicable consumer-protection law remain unaffected.
9. Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms with an updated effective date and appropriate notice for material changes. For subscription, privacy, or account questions, contact us using the verified contact method shown on the website or within the application.
